The CMA® credential is your key to greater career potential. Pursue the CMA and demonstrate your mastery of the critical accounting and financial management skills needed on the job today. CMAs earn the credential through work experience, a rigorous two-part exam, and continuing education.

Cost Effective CPE

The New York Chapter offers cost effective CPE for CMAs and CFMs. Typically, the Chapter offers one CPE at our technical dinner meetings and three CPE at our professional development seminars. Our costs are relatively low for meetings. At dinner meetings in addition to CPE, you get a dinner at a restaurant, fellowship with other IMA members and an interesting speaker.

CMA/CFM Recognition Night

Each year, the New York Chapter has a CMA/CFM recognition night where we recognize people for achieving this certification and they receive an IMA CMA/CFM pin that they can proudly wear to all IMA meetings.Qualifications for receiving a pin:

  • Have not received one before
  • Earned the CMA/CFM
  • Are a member of the New York Chapter
  • RSVP ahead of time
  • Attend the meeting
